Interesting research study that formulates on the link between mental health and academic achievement. There are now many such studies and a weight of evidence, unsurprising to many of us, that the mental health of children is highly relevant to academic achievement.

> A lovely outcome of many psychotherapies with young people is seeing them more able to engage with and focus on learning, less encumbered by emotional and mental health preoccupations. We have a phrase in psychoanalytic psychotherapy: 'back on the developmental tracks' which speaks to the time when the recovery of a young person from their mental health challenges has allowed them to re-focus on normative development (incl friends and socialising, academic achievement, fun and play).
